"Northeastern Sunset" is a bright hyperrealistic reflective seascape of the Atlantic Ocean on an East Coast beach. Minoff masterfully depicts the textures of the ocean as it approaches shore in this realist portrait of the sea.
Framed in a traditional white gold frame.
Painting dimensions: 10 x 16 inches

Artist Bio:
Edward Minoff Graduated with honors from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Throughout his high school and college years he studied painting and sculpture at the Art Students League of New York, The National Academy School of Design, and later at Vassar College. He has also copied works at the Louvre, Prado, and the Metropolitan Museum, where he subsequently taught a class in copying master works. After co-founding the animation house, AMPnyc, he began to study at the Water Street Atelier. In 1999 the lure of the studio became irresistible and he left his animation company to fully devote himself to painting. Later, he journeyed to Italy to study at the Florence Academy of Art. His work has shown in New York, San Francisco, Santa Fe, Washington DC, Houston, Greenwich and Nantucket.
He now resides in Brooklyn with his wife, two children and bulldog.

Edward Minoff
