Holloway a word meaning ancient path in the landscape, these places are often atmospheric and full of resonance of times past, it is from the Old English word "hola weg" meaning sunken road. The fascination with the feeling one gets when walking on these paths is what gave me the inspiration for this piece and opened up a whole new avenue of exploration. It is Oil Paint on a deep edge cradled panel and comes unframed. I can be hung directly on the wall or is ready for your own frame of choice/
