""Seven Rila Lakes" is an impressionist painting by Maestro Elena Georgieva. The painting is unframed. Her paintings bring emotion of happiness, love, energy and beauty represented by the vast creative power of her talent.” Maestro Elena Georgieva was born in 1979 in Sofia, Bulgaria From 1997 till 1999 she studied painting in “The Julius Pinkas Fine Art College” in Sofia. In 2006 Graduated the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia with master degree in painting in the class of Acad. Svetlin Rusev, Prof. Desislava Mincheva and Prof. Ivaylo Mirchev. She participated in numerous group exhibitions as a student. In 2005 and 2006 she was awarded second prize and encouragement in the Contest for young artists managed by the St. Cyril and Methodius Foundation. She was awarded a diploma in a drawing competition organized by the National Academy in Sofia. She became winner of the annual scholarship for young artists, founded by Dr. A. Kanev. She was awarded in a competition managed by Post Bank. Since 2006 the young artist is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists. In 2007 she opened her first solo exhibition in the gallery "Art 36", followed by a solo exhibition at the Privatization Agency. In 2009 in "Sofia Press Gallery” was her next exhibition, entitled "Places". It included landscapes from Bulgaria and other countries in Europe. In 2010 she participated in the initiative of Global Foundation for Art PANGAEA, under the motto "Society today and tomorrow". She named her painting "To create life”. In 2013 she was awarded a two-month specialization at “Cite des Arts”, Paris, France. In 2016 she participated in Allianz Bulgaria National Competition for Painting. In 1916 she was nomineed for scolarship in Munchen. Awarded a specialization in 2013 in “Cite des Arts”, Paris 2013 – 2019 – Participation in the annual exhibition “30/30” at Astry gallery 2016 – Participation in The Exhib. for the Allianz Bulgaria National Competition for Painting, Sculptore and Graphics. 2016 – Exhibition from the Plainair “The Fire Danube”, Toutrakan 2016 – Participation in “Time with Body of Oaktree” at Geshov Gallery 2016 – Participation in the Union Art Exhib. “Landscape”, Shipka 6 2017 – Participation in the “Friends of The Sea” bianale, Bourgas 2018 – Participation in The Exhib. for the Allianz Bulgaria National Competition for Painting, Sculptore and Graphics. Her artworks have been sold to galleries and individuals around the world

Thank you so much! we appreciate your interest to our work. Maestro Levchenko, Petro [Левченко, Петро; Levčenko], born 11 July 1856 in Kharkiv, d 27 January 1917 in Kharkiv. and pedagogue. He studied art in Kharkiv under Dmytro Bezperchy, at the Saint Petersburg Academy of Arts (1878–83), and in Paris and Rome. From 1886 he lectured at the Kharkiv Painting School. He was a member of the Society of South Russian Artists and a participant in almost all of the exhibitions of the Peredvizhniki (1886–1904), and from 1900 his works displayed the influence of the impressionists. Levchenko did some 800 landscapes, primarily of Ukraine (such as A Deserted Place, Night: A Cottage in Moryntsi, A Ukrainian Village, In the Kharkiv Region, A Street in Putyvl, and The Yard of Saint Sophia...

    Signed lower right. Complemented by a period frame. William L. Lathrop (1859-1938) Deemed “Father of the New Hope Art Colony”, William Langson Lathrop was born in Warren, Illinois. He was largely self-taught, having only studied briefly with William Merritt Chase in 1887, at the Art Students League. Lathrop first moved east in the early 1880s, and took a job at the Photoengraving Company in New York City. While there, he befriended a fellow employee, Henry B. Snell. The two men became lifelong friends and ultimately, both would be considered central figures among the New Hope Art Colony. Lathrop's early years as an artist were ones of continuing struggle. His efforts to break through in the New York art scene seemed futile, so he scraped enough money together to travel to Europe with Henry Snell in1888.
