Small bucolic oil on panel by Victorian Painter George Turner. A rare treat to have such a little beauty by this much sought after artist. English landscape artist and farmer who is often referred to as "Derbyshire's John Constable", is an elegant and atmospheric painter. This painting depicts Idridgehay in Derbyshire where he lived for his last years and it is dated 1889.
