Drying the Sails, dock scene Gloucester Harbor with fishing boats; mid-century

About the Item

"Drying the Sails" is a great example by renowned Cape Ann Artist: James Jeffery Grant. It pictures working fishing boats from the period with wonderful reflections in the water of Gloucester Harbor. It's housed in a very nice period hand-carved frame (probably newcomb macklin). Painting is in very good condition. Recently cleaned and revarnished. Frame has had minor restoration and looks great. The painting is 14x16 inches without frame; 20x22 inches with frame.
