A budding student of the ocean, she does not hesitate to challenge the seagulls as they dive into the surf for their next meal . . . the baitfish! Her feet are solidly planted in the ocean floor as the undertow grabs her and the baitfish with each wave, in this original, figurative, marine landscape. The turquoise and kelly green waters are radiant as the white tide plays off of the seagulls. Heading due west from NYC to escape the hustle and bustle of city living and arrive in time for the afternoon milking was quite a trek for the American aristocrats who built the estates of the New Jersey Somerset Hills during the Great Depression.
