Palace of Fine Arts by San Francisco native Leonida Louise (Bertone) Ivanetich (American, b-1941), migratory birds fly over head an alight in the Marina watershed on a cool San Francisco evening. Leonida was born in the bay area and attended the College of Notre Dame with a B.A. and an MSA (Master of Science in anatomy). she has lived and painted in Massachusetts, Virginia and California. Virginia is her home where she exhibits her watercolors.

Palace of Fine Arts: A monumental structure originally constructed for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition in order to exhibit works of art presented there. One of only a few surviving structures from the Exposition, it is the only one still situated on its original site.
