Lorenz E. Griffith was born in Indiana; he was active/lived in North Carolina, Florida, Indiana and many places across the United States. Lorenz Griffith is known for luminist landscapes and portraits. He painted in the style of the Florida Highwaymen artists. He is not related to Indiana artist L.O. Griffith, but may have studied under TC Steele.
