The China Tea Clipper "Shun Lee" Signed MONTAGUE DAWSON A gorgeous oil painting focusing of the "Shun Lee" ship built on the Thames in 1866 by W. Walker. The ship was a marvel, weighing in 674 tons, and was 158 feet in length. Her maiden voyage was between London and Australia under Captain J. Milbank, and she was then employed on the China Trade. In 1871 she was sold to Potter & Company of London and began the London-New Zealand trade.
