Dimanche Cote d'Azur, Sunday on the French Riviera, is forever bathing in glowing sunlight, reflecting the sun's golden rays throughout her storied landscape and azure blue waters. It is indeed one of Europe's most adored waterfronts. Artist Dmitri Wright, Director of the Weir Farm National Historic Site Art Academy, where he teaches art in addition to teaching painting at the venerable Florence Griswold Museum, both of Connecticut, punctuates this contemporary oil painting with impasto paint, highlighting the joy to behold relaxing along the renowned French coastline.
