Serene depiction looking out over the water with the Austrian Alps in the background by Paul Kujal (Austrian, 1888-1965). In this beautiful mid 20th century spring time scene, a grassy hillside on the water's edge is dotted with blooming plants and trees in soft pinks and light greens.
Signed in the lower right corner P. Kujal.

Paul Kajal was born in Vienna and studied with Rudolf von Weyr. Kujal practiced his craft while travelling to Switzerland, Italy and France. His works of art have been exhibited in Vienna in the "Glaspalast", "Segantinibund" and "Sezession;"
