Zachariadis' 'Agora' is comprised of two conjoined 100x120 panels that combine to create a phenomenal wide angle complexion of a classic European marketplace, a cultural symbol of vibrant society - which is highlighted by the playful deep, thick, strokes of strong bright vivid colours, mixed together in a figurative style. This piece could be laid out flat or placed on the corner of a wall with each panel touching a different side, which creates a mesmerising effect whereby you feel that you are immersed in this playful marketplace.
