'Summer Pink Light' is an original artwork by Teresa Pemberton. There is a special light on the coast at Poltesco on the Lizard in Cornwall. This is the southernmost tip of Cornwall. This painting is inspired by the atmosphere and the rocks which are pink serpentine. It used to be mined here. The "pink" varies from maroon through cerise to a pale grey. The little rocks just off the beach seem like boats sailing out to sea. I have painted the pink pebbles and seaweed with textured surface.
