"The Sun is at the Morning Bell. Silvacane Abbey" depicts the Silvacane Abbey during the early morning hours. The painting showcases the ancient architecture of the abbey, bathed in the serene and solemn light of dawn. Tom Mabon (b. 1956) graduated from Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen. His paintings include evocative renditions of farmland and pasture through the seasons with carefully constructed compositions and a superb mastery of colour and tone.
