A beautifully textured and soothing mid-century landscape composition, executed in oil onto board and dated 1950.
This panoramic landscape painting presents a view of a meadow barn nestled amidst lush greenery. The scene is imbued with a subtle touch of evening light, delicately portrayed by a patch of light yellow gently illuminating the field.
The colour palette chosen is muted, primarily consisting of soft shades of green, hints of yellow, and accents of red. These hues seamlessly blend to create a harmonious and tranquil atmosphere.
