Verdant mid-century landscape of a small mountain house nestled in thickly wooded hills by an unknown artist (German, 20th Century), 1937. This late 1930's naïve landscape oil painting features a palette of deep greens and earth-tones, with painterly impasto brushstrokes.
Signed "M.S." and dated 1937 lower right. Location in German on Verso.
Displayed in an antique giltwood frame with leather liner.
