Vicente Rincon Garrido (1892-1958) - Spanish Garden - Oil on canvas
Oil measurements 46x55 cm.
Frameless.
Vicente Rincón trained in Zaragoza and settled in Barcelona in 1917. He debuted individually in 1921, and
Since then, his exhibitions have taken place in the Dalmau, Parés, Busquets and Galerías Laietanas rooms.
Likewise, he participated in several editions of the Spring Hall of the city of Barcelona, obtaining the first
painting prize in 1923, and attended the 1929 International, where he was awarded a diploma of
second class. He also participated in the National Exhibition of Fine Arts of 1926. Later he traveled to
Paris, where he interacted with Picasso, Van Dongen and Foujita and appeared in 1930, at the Le Galleries.
Prince. It is currently represented in the Zaragoza City Council.

He was largely self-taught, having only studied briefly with William Merritt Chase in 1887, at the Art Students League. Lathrop first moved east in the early 1880s, and took a job at the Photoengraving Company in New York City. While there, he befriended a fellow employee, Henry B. Snell.
