The Spanish artist Alejandro Casanova lives and works in Tenerife, where he moved after completing his art education on the Spanish mainland.
On Tenerife he continued his studies and started an impressive advance in the Spanish and later also International art world. His work can now be seen in galleries from Oslo to New York and
also in Nuenen, famous because Vincent van Gogh lived here for two years and painted some of his most famous paintings. The Small Church and the Potato eaters.
The Spanish artist Casanova at this moment teaches young artists on the famous art school in Florence.
His style: Large, broad brush strokes, thin layers and a particularly attractive use of colour. Sensual paintings, alienating compositions, shockingly direct.
