Up for sale is an interesting antique 19th-century original oil painting on canvas depicting an interior scene with a knight and a cavalier competing for the attention of a young lady. CONTINENTAL SCHOOL.
Signed and dated in the lower-left corner Ch.Rotzer, and dated 1888.
Condition: stable craquelure overall. Very good condition. Relined.
Presented in a gorgeous antique ornate gold frame.

Framed measuring 33.5" x 28", the painting measures 27" x 21.75".
