Ikebana or flower arrangement is a cultural staple in Japan. There are many rules to follow to incur the soul of the flowers such as color, symmetry, size and others. I have lived in Japan over 20 years and have noted these structures in creating my original ikebana on canvas and in reality. This painting was created using only professional grade acrylics on un-stretched canvas.
