About the Item
One of America's most important realist painters, Eric Forstmann's work is proudly held in many public & private collections, such as the Rauschenberg Foundation, Aurelius Capital Management, LP, Meryl Streep, Kevin Bacon & Warren Beatty. He has had one-man shows at The Butler Institute of American Art in Ohio;
The Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Missouri; The Evansville Museum of Arts, History and Science in Indiana; the Mattatuck Museum of Art in Connecticut & Brenau University in Georgia. Eric was featured at the Norman Rockwell Museum in the exhibition Rockwell and Realism in an Abstract World in 2016 & in Naples Collects at the Naples Museum of Art in Florida. Eric studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. His studio in Torrington, CT.
