Up for sale is a Post Impressionist , Still life by Jane Wilson (1924-2015). Jane wilson was an important female Abstract Expressionists painter. She has been exhibited in many museums, including the Moma and Metropolitan Museum and Whitney Museum. She studied Alongside and participated in group shows that included Pollock, de Kooning, Robert Rauschenberg and Helen Frankenthaler. In 1960, Andy Warhol commissioned her to paint his portrait. The piece up for sale is signed lower right and an early work. A rare period to find by her Oil on board Signed lower right Sight size: 18x24 inches Overall 26x20 inches with frame Overall very good original condition From a private New York collection
