About the Item

Karol is a highly skilled artist whose abstract mixed-media paintings exude an exceptional level of raw creativity. Her artistic process involves skillfully combining colors, chalk paints, and papers to produce captivating works of art. With a comprehensive education in painting, drawing, and sculpture from the esteemed Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Karol has honed her craft to perfection. The essence of Karol's artwork can be best described as a manifestation of naive expressionism. She skillfully captures a child-like expression by deliberately disregarding the conventional rules of perspective, resulting in intriguing compositions with skewed content and bold colors. Utilizing canvas as her medium, she deftly layers various materials, creating stunning collages or vibrant floral paintings. These works can be arranged in diverse groupings, offering a dynamic interplay of colors and themes. Karol draws inspiration from her experiences in travel, fashion, and interior design, infusing her pieces with an alluring aesthetic. Her ultimate goal is to create paintings that resemble exquisite pieces of jewelry adorning the walls. She collaborates closely with interior designers throughout Southern California, including Newport and the Bay Area in Northern California. The client's specific requirements regarding color palettes, scale, and content are meticulously incorporated into each project. Prior to the final creation of custom paintings, Karol provides clients with a mock-up for preview and feedback. In order to ensure the perfect fit, Karol offers a unique service where she visualizes her artwork on the intended walls. Clients simply email her the wall dimensions, and in return, she promptly provides them with images showcasing how the paintings will appear in their desired space. This attention to detail exemplifies Karol's commitment to customer satisfaction. Above all, Karol finds great joy in creating diverse and personalized artworks for her clients. Her exceptional talent, coupled with her unwavering dedication, makes her a sought-after artist in the industry.
