Beautiful impressionistic bouquet of peonies is a wonderful wall decor, the painting is created in pleasant purple colours with blue background. The artwork is painted in the artist's garden en plein air.

That is why his favorite kind of painting is plein-air painting. There are a lot of beautiful states of nature that are very inspiring. Nikolay also likes painting flowers, especially lilacs. "I remember when I was a boy, I was walking with my parents and saw the most beautiful sunset. At that very moment I sensed a fine interconnection with nature. I understood that it wasn't enough for me just to see it. I came home and depicted that sunset by memory trying to express my sensations to the utmost".
