Although one could imagine only Nature can produce such rare wonders, this gold nugget (« pépite », in French) with perfect symmetries was created straight from the artist imagination. Olivier Muhlhoff started by taking pictures of real gold nuggets, with which he created a new crystallization process of his own. This eventually led to this series of poetic jewels of hypnotic beauty, iinvented treasures that would make any adventurer dream of finding them in the wild jungle of a virgin land.
Olivier Muhlhoff is a perfectionist : every settings are chosen with the most careful attention to create a piece of the most stunning effect. To magnify them, the artist chose to present this series of artworks with a glossy finish to emphasize bold and striking colors, as actual gold nuggets are, and to frame them with a black floating frame which joins to the gorgeous red background to form a luxury box.

- W.T.C: Concrete Abstract #8 (Triptych)By Shai KremerLocated in New York, NYIsrael-born photographer Shai Kremer lives and works in New York. He completed his MFA studies at the School of Visual Arts (S.V.A) in Manhattan. For many years, Kremer's eye has been drawn to themes of urban destruction and reconstruction and to landscapes evidencing trauma. These concerns merged in his ambitious series W.T.C: Concrete Abstract, which explores the impact of the 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center. For more than a decade, Kremer made periodic visits to Ground Zero, focusing his camera on the efforts towards recovery, repair, and renewal. As a collection, Concrete Abstract conveys the gradual progression from tragedy towards healing. Each large-scale archival pigment print in the series is composed from as many as sixty to 100 overlapping images, resulting in a subtle collage that invites closer inspection while also reading as a unified whole.
