Thomas Michael Dunphy (born 1944 in East Los Angeles, California) is best known for portraying General Waste-more-land, a character based on General William Westmoreland, at anti-Vietnam War protests in the 1960s. Dunphy is also a poet and is involved in other political activities including working with the Hopi Indians to become a sovereign nation.
Fine black and white photograph by noted American photographer Richard Blair. Richard Blair has been in a photographic frenzy for most of his adult life. Born in New York City in 1948, he has been a professional photographer since 1967 when he moved to California.
This photograph was taken circa 1969 / 1970 in Berkeley, California. Printed from a negative and signed in 2001.
Dimensions 8.5" x 12.5". The frame measures 16.5" x 20.5".
Signed and dated lower right. Very good condition.
