Francesca Woodman is an original artwork realized by the Italian artist and photographer Angelo Cricchi in 2008. Original Digital Photograph. Hand-signed, dated, numbered by the artist on the back of the photo. The original mark of the photographer is present on the back. The photo is an edition of 5 unique specimens and is part of the series "Gloomy Sunday" realized by the artist in the 2000s. The artwork represents a back female nude lying on the floor near a pot with eels. The photograph is an hommage to a young and influent American photographer of the last decades of the XX Century: Francesca Woodman (Denver, 1958 - New York, 1981). Woodman has been an influential photographer and artist that was born in USA from an artists family and lived ofter in Italy, where she attended the primary school in Florence. She is famous for his sperimental photography and for her woman and their bodies. She often represented herself and her body in her work. She committed suicide at the age of 22 dashing herself from a skycraper of new York. Excellent conditions.
