Beautiful and ethereal women floating underwater are reappearing subjects in the works of Howard Schatz. This image of Shawnee Fee Jones was created for a Wolford Campaign. The model is wearing a black bodysuit floating in a pool underwater. Her back is turned toward the camera. Her red curly hair is tangled around her upper arms and floating towards the reflections of the water's surface right above her head. The model's head is turned to the side so her profile is visible to the viewer. Her skin and red hair are glowing in front of the grey wall of the pool.
The image is simple, somewhat abstract, and intriguing in its soft but glowing color palette.
