Jonathan Spector
Flight of the Oyster Catcher, Fine Art Photography, Plexiglass, Signed

About the Item

Flight of the Oyster Catcher 40" x 40" Oceanscape Fine Art Photography Framed in Plexiglass Signed Swimming in hurricanes. Most people think it's crazy but for Jonathan Spector it's just another day at the office. When his hometown of Long Beach, NY was evacuated as Hurricane Irene approached, Jonathan grabbed his photography equipment and ran towards the beach. Just like in any other hurricane or winter storm, there are fears when Jonathan is in the water. However, he is drawn to surf photography especially during the winter months. The lighting, textures and shapes of the waves crashing over him are both exciting and frightening. Jonathan is a self-taught, award winning surf photographer living in Long Beach, NY. As a surf photographer, Jonathan travels the work taking photos of waves, surfers and the most beautiful oceans capes. He is fascinated by the beauty he captures with his camera. Jonathan has been invited to national juried art shows all over the East Coast. His work is in many private collections.
