As physical books are beginning to disappear in the modern digital life, we crave to bring books back into our home and this picture is the perfect way to do so. Shot in Hanoi in 2016, there are so many beautiful elements to this piece. The lines, the tone and the abstract nature of the books allowing you to make it your own bookcase. Part of Richard Heeps 2013 series 'This is Not America', documenting Vietnam as he travelled from North to South.
This artwork is a limited edition of 10 gloss photographic print presented in a museum board white window mount and a choice of black or white box frame. It is signed and numbered on reverse accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Richard Heeps’ seductive, highly saturated colours and sophisticated pictorial structures demonstrate a true love and empathy for his subject matter – be it cool, descriptive interiors, still life, portrait or landscape. His distinctive style pushes the limits of lens-based photography without the need for digital manipulation. He runs his own darkrooms in Cambridge (UK) where he hand prints his colour photography. His work has been exhibited in Museums and Public Galleries around England and he has participated in Art Fairs around the world and his work is now part of many international collections.
