Vetyver Pool, photograph from Richard Heeps India series, The Ambassador's Window.
On a journey through India, a pilgrimage from Kerala in the South, to his Grandfather's birthplace Meerut in the North. Created at sunset in Kerala this palm tree lagoon warms a room, taking you somewhere tropical. Richard is very inspired by films, often referencing them in day to day life and on this journey he had 'Apocalypse Now' very much on his mind.
This artwork is a limited edition of 25, gloss photographic print, dry-mounted to aluminium, it is presented in a museum board white window mount and a choice of black or white box frame fitted with anti-reflective UV70% glass. It is signed and numbered on reverse and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
