Large Scale Limited edition color photograph, 40"x60" depicting a group of swimmers beginning a race in the water with a light blue, white tones. The composition captures a large group of blue capped swimmers amongst splashing light waves in the water, set against a landscape with the sun positioned low on the horizon. This waterscape photograph shows the landscape just beyond the water with a sloping contour of mountains behind the swim racers.
In this of series the water-based photographs, waves crest, surge, and swell. The water foams up in the whitecaps and the primal, tangible, force of the water is palpable. Yet there is a peacefulness and inner awareness that the experience of these fleeting moments is universal.
This photograph is limited edition of 15 and is signed with a digital signature on the bottom right hand corner of the print along with the edition number. Please inquire about framing options.

Danny Weiss is a New York based photographer who who captures the power and beauty of the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Weiss’s large scale color photographs of waves are replete in rich tones of magenta, fuschia, orange and blue. The motion of the crashing waves contrasts sharply with the crisp horizon lines. In this series of contemporary color photographs, entitled “In the Deep,” the waves crest, surge, and swell. The water foams up in the whitecaps and the primal, tangible, force of the water is palpable. Yet there is a peacefulness and inner awareness that the experience of these fleeting moments is universal.
