This piece is created from an original photograph, taken on a helicopter trip with the doors off. The image is digitally coloured and printed on brushed aluminium, which brings out the vivid colours and mimics the statue’s gorgeous copper surface. I love the statue’s sense of strength, boldness, and power as if it is proud to be there, centre stage. The piece’s bold colours, pop-art style and aluminium surface help convey this feeling. First Lady is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around two weeks. An aluminium subframe on the back makes it incredibly easy to hang.
