American photographer Bob Willoughby (1927-2009) had a photographic career that coincided with the Golden Age of film. As the first on set film photographer, Willoughby revolutionised the documentation of Hollywood. Willoughby was the first 'outside’ photographer employed by studios to document the making of films. His work forms a visual who’s who of cinema, rock and jazz music, theatre and dance over 20 years.
