Nick’s friendship with the Mexican artist, Miguel Covarrubias, lead to the introduction to Frida Kahlo when Nick visited Mexico. Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo were introduced by Covarubbias and it was in 1931 when Nickolas and Frida’s love affair started.
