Albert Watson is a veteran of international fine art-, fashion- and commercial photography, a non-conformist intellectual and uncompromising creative force. The multitalented photographer, director and graphic designer has developed an iconic style of his own and created a luminous artistic body of work, in both technical and aestethic terms.
He has had retrospective exhibitions at renowned museums and art institutions, such as the KunstHaus Wien, Vienna, The Museum of Modern Art, Milan, The Photography Museum, Antwerp, and the NWR forum in Duesseldorf. His images are in the private collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the National Portrait Gallery in London.
‘Adult Movies’ is part of a series documenting iconic neon Signs in LA. It induces nostalgic as well as nefarious dreams in capturing a little bit of LA’s nighlife.
