About the Item
Hand-printed fine arts poster 50x70
Limited Edition of 15 monotypes Printed, signed, and numbered by the artist 2019
Architectural story number three captures abandoned, but nonetheless gorgeous and unique modernist architecture and most vividly expresses the idea of Invisible Treasures series. From far, at first, one sees only a colourful splash of sea blue, but then one notices the pastel pink neon architectural facade, almost transparent yet brightly reflecting the light.
Each print is unique. The blue ink splash is a monotype, hand-pulled with a squeegee through a framed textile. And neon pink architecture image is printed with silkscreen technique, which allows to achieve a stencil on a framed textile, covered with light-sensitive emulsion, by exposing original ink drawing combined with inkjet image, which then is used to print the image by hand on environmentally friendly high-quality fine Munken laminated paper 300/400 g/m2, with water-based inks. This technique produces a distinctive volume and sense of material detail of the image.
Unframed. The size of the print is 50x70 cm, which perfectly fits to a standard frame size. Delivery in a cardboard tube.
