This exceptional large print measures 36x36 and is a one-off print, edition of 1, from a much larger series in which every print in the series is different and only printed once meaning no one else will have this same print. Signed by hand, lower right hand corner.
The Print depicts concentric squares and circles which are evenly spaced. Every print in this large series entitled "The Abstract Expression Series" is similarly formed with squares and circles. This work is very contemporary in style while paying homage to artists such as Frank Stella.
Laredo Jackson is an American Artist who was born in San Antonio, Texas. He is a classically trained artist who was educated in Europe and transitioned to Abstraction in his mid-20s. Much of his work is influenced by 20th century artists such as Mark Rothko and Frank Stella, as well as ancient indigenous American and Mexican art. Laredo Jackson's work is typically clean lined and abstract, his preference in digital printing is due to his ideas of perfectionism and clean lines in his art.
