Green and black woodblock print of abstract figures. The print is signed, titled, and editioned by the artist. It is framed in a black frame. On the back of the frame, there is an artist biography attached. Dimension without Frame: H 16 in x W 12.75 in. Artist Biography: Lee Hang-Sung was born in Korea. He still lives there. Primarily known as a painter, he became interested in woodcuts in 1957 and at the same time. He is the founder and President of the Korean Graphic Arts Society in Seoul. Throughout the nearly two millenniums, during which Korea was within a radius of Chinese cultural influence, Korean artist has seldom failed to temper the nature of this Chinese influence as to render their work immediately discernible. This is most apparent in Lee Hung's woodcut, "Mysterious Echo."
