About the Item
Yellow is an original artwork realized by Lorenzo Indrimi in the 1970's. Interesting coloured lithograph, hand signed in pencil on lower right margin; on the left lower margin "P.A." (artist proof) is written. Excellent conditions.
It represents a two-tone abstract composition; in the center, there is a geometrical shape with vertical yellow lines. It is composed of minimal lines and shapes. Interesting is the use of colors: a total bright yellow background contrasts with the light green of the shape in the center.
Lorenzo Indrimi (Roma, 1930 - Roma, 2013) was an Italian painter. Art for the artist finds its roots in the most remote and primitive experience of man. What today is a profession used to be merely curious and profound inclination towards the figurative image, its forms and its chromatic matters. He is famous especially for the abstract and minimal compositions.
