About the Item

RYSZARD GIERYSZEWSKI (born in 1936) Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1964. He is a member of International Association XYLON in Switzerland. He participated in more than 20 individual exhibitions in Poland and Italy. Selected awards: 1968,1970 II and III prize at Festival of Fine Arts in Warsaw, 1988 - Grand Prix Quadriennale of Polish woodcut and linocut (Olsztyn), 1988 - Grand Prix I Biennale of Small Painting Forms (Toruń), 2000 - Grand Prix - First International Bienal „GravuraAmadora – Portugal”.
