Alfred Bendiner (1899-1964) was trained as an architect but worked as an artist throughout his career. He was a noted lithographer, as well an author, muralist, and caricaturist. The Philadelphia Museum of Art has a major archive of his work. This drawing is authenticated by the artist's wife, Betty Bendiner, and titled on the reverse.
