About the Item
ABOUT THIS PIECE: My artistic journey on Burano Island has been a captivating exploration of its vibrant character. While initially drawn to its clotheslines and colourful walls in search of inspiration for my next clothesline animal, I soon discovered that each whimsical house possessed its own unique personality. My work seeks to highlight and amplify these distinctive features, celebrating the island's charm beyond its iconic laundry, embracing the quirks and individuality of every little dwelling.
ABOUT THIS ARTIST: Helga Stentzel is a London-based, multidisciplinary artist whose creative journey transcends various mediums, including photography, illustration, sculpture, and mural design. Her exceptional talents have earned her prestigious accolades, including the "Food Art Creator of the Year" award in 2020 and the title of Hasselblad Heroine in 2023. Helga's artistry has led to collaborations with renowned brands such as Hermes, Amazon, BBC, Honda, and O2. With a strong presence in the art world, she has participated in numerous group exhibitions in New York and London and is currently having two solo shows in Korea and China. A graduate of St. Martins, Helga's path to becoming a full-time artist evolved from a background in the advertising industry and entrepreneurship, including a venture into children's clothing.
PACKAGING: 30x40" and 40x60" prints are shipped in a special fortified tube to guard against bending or damage. Framed 30x40" prints are shipped via FedEx in a bespoke cardboard box with a fitted interior armature for the frame. We do not frame the extra large, 40x60" print sizes because they are too large to ship without risking damage.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We ship unframed prints internationally via DHL. The international shipping cost does not include the tax & duties, which will be the responsibility of the customer. Unfortunately, because of the high shipping cost we do not ship framed prints internationally at this time.

This well know subject was originally created by the famous British artist William Hogarth and then reproduced over time by many contemporary artists as prints of various formats and as paintings.
