The Lion Tamer is featured in this circus poster as well as Clyde Beatty in person. The World's Largest Circus.
Image of a lion tamer with a stool and stick holding back a roaring lion on its hind legs; vignettes of a clown, hippopotamus, circus tent, and elephant at center left; "The World's Largest Circus" circular logo at top right;
Great colors and good condition. Linen backed. Vintage posters are accompanied by certificates of authenticity. A beautifully done primary colored poster displaying a lion tamer fearlessly in action against a large roaring male lion. Circus posters had a very short life span and were normally printed on the least expensive paper. Most did not survive the weather and time.
