About the Item

This limited edition linocut print in black and white presents a little league game, probably with a larger and more diverse audience than in real life. The artist portrays a full complement of characters, including children, intense fans keeping score, people screaming and resting, players in their own world, and a pony-tailed pitcher. This is a whole summer world in one print. The artist has signed the print in front. It is sold unframed. Dan Mehlman is a sculptor who works with ceramics, model making, and print making. He obtained a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA from California State University at Fullerton. He maintains an active studio in Delmar, NY, and has collaborated with brands such as Dansk, Steuben, Baccarat, and Waterworks.
