The artwork represents the historical and admirable landscape o Arch of Janus through intense black skillfully depicted by precise and soft strokes, showing its beauty. The Arch of Janus is a four-faced arch in Rome. The name is derived from the structure's four-fronted, four-arched configuration. The ancient Roman god Janus (Ianus Quadrifons), was sometimes depicted with four faces, and there are Janus-related structures mentioned in historic descriptions of ancient Rome. Janus is the God of gates, transitions, duality, doorways, passages. He is usually showing with two faces since he looks to the future and to the past. here The artist created an enchanting harmony by well-defined hatching to demonstrates the historical arch.
