La serie El origen de la luz consta de tres piezas impresas en serigrafía sobre papel.
La serie explora uno de los principios de la auto-percepción, la conciencia de sí mismo en el espacio, mediante juegos compositivos y cambios sutiles de color. El negro como alegoría a la caverna, ala luz y la sombre fundaménteles; el amarillo como el coló que mejor representa la experiencia del brillo y la iluminación, y el rojo bermellón que es característico de los primeros pigmentos usados en las paredes de la cuevas en las pinturas rupestres.
