Coffee Time is an original modern artwork realized in the first decades of the XX Century by Lubin de Beauvais (Paris, 1873 - Paris, 1917).
Original colored lithograoh on paper.
Passepartout included (cm 46 x 29).
Hand-signed on the lower right corner.
Mint conditions.
Very colorful lithograph on paper depicting a couple drinking a cup of coffee. Both the figures, facing each other, are rather grotesque and are surrounded by some animals. The furniture reflects the figures: the walls are decorated with very bright patterns and very strong colors.
This artwork has been realized by the French artist Lubin de Beauvais (Paris, 1873 - Paris, 1917). He also uses the pseudonym of Gabriel de Laumont for his lithographs or illustrations of “gallant” works, a name he borrowed from his mother. He contributed to numerous newspapers such as La Baïonnette, Le Charivari, Le Frou-frou, L'Assiette aueurre, Le Rire, Gil Blas Illustrated, La Libre Parole Illustrée, La Vie parisienne, as well as children's magazines. He also illustrated musical scores, postcards (among others for the hundred collection) and novels. He exhibited at the Salon des humoristes in Paris in 1909 and 1910.
