La Nencia da Barberino is a limited edition book that contains an original precious etching realized by Luigi Bartolini . Published by Bucciarelli. Printed by Tipografia Giovagnoli, Ancona.  48/100 copies.  Very good conditions both of the book and of the etching.  The book is numbered and printed on "Hand paper", every copy contains an etching by Luigi Bartolini.  The etching is signed and dated on plate on the lower left corner: Bartolini, 1959; signed on plate on the lower right: Bartolini. Numbered in pencil on the lower left corner 48/100, hand-signed in pencil on the lower right corner: Luigi Bartolini. The poem "La Nencia da Barberino" has been written by Lorenzo de' Medici between  1469 and 1473. In the poem the peasant Vallera sings the praises of the shepherdess Nencia, of whom he is in love and which gives his name to the work.
