Chess Game - Vintage Postcard designed by Mitzi Marbach - Early 1900

Early 1900

About the Item

Chess Game is a wonderful color lithographed postcard realized in the early years of the XX century by the Austrian artist, Mitzi Marbach. A beautiful, little dimension, postcard in the Art Nouveau style, signed on plate on lower right margin, representing a man and a woman concentrated in the chess game in their elegant parlor. In very good conditions, except for some signs of the time along the edge ( some little stains, or usual yellowing of the paper and little abrasions of the paper due to wear). Including a black painted wooden frame, with little wormholes.
